-Pros: Good movie. LOTS of specials. I didn't even touch the surface above. Best menu I've ever seen.
-Cons: N/A
-Link: The Abyss- $22.99
-Notes: Wow. At that price, pick it up. It's an amazing little two disc set with TONS of specials. The text comentary seems to be a subtitle version of the audio comentary.-The Adventures of Baron Munchausen: A very strage, but very cool, movie.
-Sides: 1
-Format: Widescreen.
-Starts with: Menu.
-Specials: Trailer, Cast and Crew Bios (menu).
-Languages: (Audio) English, Spanish, Portuguese. (Subtitles) English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Thai.
-Pros: Good movie, and very funny. I've never seen that many subtitles on one disc.. nor most of those languages on a regon 1 dvd... wow.
-Cons: Oh I might as well.. with all those languages, there's no French? ;)
-Link: The Adventures of Baron Munchausen - $19.99
-Notes: I personally like this movie. It's kind of odd though that they have so many different languages for subtitles, but no French... what about Canada (no offence to those in Canada who prefer to speak English...)-Airport:
-Sides: 1
-Format: Standard.
-Starts with: Menu.
-Specials: None.
-Languages: (Audio) English. (Subtitles) English, French, Spanish.
-Pros: Good movie.
-Cons: No specials.
-Link: Airport - $8.99
-Notes: Not a bad movie. Mostly focus on the character, a bit of story. I like that in movies. You might want to check your local K-Mart for this one, I picked it up there for $9.99.-Akira: Special Edition: Anime. It's one of those "you can't call yourself an anime fan and NOT have this one." things. I really, honestly, never liked this show.
-Sides: 2, 1 per disc.
-Format: Widescreen.
-Starts with: Menu.
-Specials: Capsule game (click the capsule to get extra info). Disc 2 is dedicated to specials.
-Languages: (Audio) English, Japanese. (Subtitles) English.
-Pros: A good set.
-Cons: Pioneer redid the translations, both sub and dub.. so it seems just WRONG if you remember the original. Things are pronounced differently.. and really, hearing Kenada sounding the same as Vash is wrong. That and I've never liked this show.
-Link: Akira - $29.99
-Notes: There is a standard edition for $18.47, if you aren't interested in all the specials. This special edition comes in a tin box.-Amazon Women on the Moon: Not much of a "movie".. more of a mockery of all bad movies made, plus some skits thrown in. Pretty funny actually.
-Sides: 1
-Format: Standard.
-Starts with: Movie.
-Specials: None.
-Languages: (Audio) English.
-Pros: N/A.
-Cons: No specials, not that good of a movie.
-Link: Amazon Women on the Moon - $8.99
-Notes: Funny at parts, but not really DVD quality, IMHO.-Antitrust:
-Sides: 1
-Format: Widescreen.
-Starts with: Menu.
-Specials: Audio Comentary, Featurette, Deleted Scenes, Music Video, Trailer.
-Languages: (Audio) English, French, Spanish. (Subtitles) French, Spanish.
-Pros: Good movie, lots of specials.
-Cons: N/A
-Link: Antitrust - $18.74
-Notes: Gee, big surprise what this movie is about. However, it's a great conspiricy movie. Everybody's trying to play everybody against everybody else, it's pretty wild to see. I think they should have used some C code or something else other than HTML during the opening credit sequence. I mean please, give me a break...-Apollo 13: Based on the true story.
-Sides: 1
-Format: Widescreen.
-Starts with: Movie.
-Specials: Featurette, Audio Commentaries, Trailer, Cast and Crew bios (menu), Production notes (menu).
-Langauges: (Audio) English, French, Spanish. (Subtitles) English, Spanish.
-Pros: Great movie, great specials.
-Cons: N/A.
-Link: Apollo 13 - $29.99
-Notes: There are not enough good things I can say about this disc or this movie. The featurette compares the real mission to the movie, and one of the commentaries is from Jim Lovell and his wife. I personally feel this disc is a must-have.-Assassins:
-Sides: 2
-Format: Both.
